There is a beautiful profession of faith inscribed in stone on Choin Ri Mountain near Sang Ju County. It is dedicated to the 33 martyrs of Sang Ju who died in the Byung In Persecution of 1866.
The stone was carved by Dominick Kim, a zealous layman, who lived during those violent days.
